While I’m not generally a fan of fashion photography, this series by creative duo Dustin Edward Arnold and Nicholas Alan Cope works for me. A result of the collaborators’ interests in photography, installation making, and fashion design, the images within their “Vedas” collection are refreshingly and intriguingly different. Each otherworldly photograph features dramatically lit, contorted models draped in garments designed by the photographers themselves. Their unique visions come together brilliantly in black and white.
